Mariami Marsagishvili is a Research Assistant in the Welfare Research Program at ISDC. Her biggest interest lies in the power of humanity to fight for change. Currently she is working on her master’s thesis, which investigates the influence of collective action on Forest Landscape Restoration practices in Ethiopia. Previously she worked at NGO Hudara on a community-based adaptation project for assessing post-harvest losses of Sorghum grain in Sudan.
Mariami is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. She holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Tbilisi State University, Georgia. She spent one academic exchange year in Ireland, University of Limerick and studied for one semester European Master in Project Management at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences.
