The Life in Kyrgyzstan (LiK) Conference is an annual academic conference that complements the LiK Study.
The 2024 LiK Conference will take place on 10 and 11 October in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
This year’s keynote speakers are Dr. Asel Doolotkeldieva from George Washington University and Professor Martin Petrick from the Justus Liebig University Giessen, Germany. The deadline for submissions is 30 June 2024 by email to likconference2024@gmail.com.

The LiK conferences include invited plenary talks and topical sessions on a variety of topics with a significant part of the research conducted using the LiK data. They bring together national and international experts from academic and research institutions, development agencies, government and the public sector, and non-governmental organizations to exchange knowledge and experiences on recent socio-economic developments in Kyrgyzstan and Central Asia, and to promote evidence-based policy making.
