The Gender Group at the World Bank is embarking on a DFID-supported research program on gender inequality and forced displacement. The program’s goal is to produce new empirical evidence about the gendered experiences and impacts of forced displacement using existing sources of micro data on refugees and internally displaced populations.
ISDC is partnering with the World Bank in the inception phase of the program. ISDC and the World Bank will jointly review the landscape of suitable data, organize an expert workshop, identify pressing knowledge gaps and define research questions for the next phase of the program.
