Project Background
Burkina Faso, Chad, Ethiopia, and Niger are highly vulnerable to drought, a challenge that is recently intensifying due to climate change. Combined with other shocks such as political instability, security threats, and insurgent activities, these countries face a complex interplay of crises that severely impact lives and livelihoods. Anticipatory Action approaches are aimed to mitigate these risks by providing timely support before a crisis fully unfolds, equipping households with the necessary resources to withstand shocks without resorting to harmful livelihood coping strategies.
Project Objectives
Conduct a rigorous impact study on one Anticipatory Action framework.
