We are excited to enrich the Home Garden for Resilience and Recovery (HG4RR) network with a three-part series of virtual talks about the challenges and opportunities of home garden interventions in development and emergency settings. Experts and researchers from partnering organizations will speak about their work and participate in a discussion chaired by Prof. Dr. Tilman Brück at the Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops.
The first webinar will take place on 6 October at 14.00 Berlin Time. We’ll be joined by Regine Kopplow from Concern Worldwide and Ugo Bernieri from the International Committee of the Red Cross. With the consent of the presenters, a recording of the webinar will be made available on our website.
All are welcome and encouraged to join us and learn more about home gardens as a strategy for resilience and food and nutrition security. Please register by sending your name, country, and the name of your organization to Gwen Moiles at moiles@igzev.de or hg4rr@isdc.org before 10am on the day of the presentation.
