Darya White

Darya is a Communications Assistant at ISDC, working across internal and external channels and providing support for Fragile Lives 2026. Her research interests include informal governance systems across post-communist societies in Russia and Central Asia, as well as Russian disinformation techniques and narrative politics. With a focus on the latter she is currently working as a Research Assistant at the Kiel Institute of the World Economy, on the EUvsDisinfo database.

Her role at the ISDC comes after working in communications and programmes at the International Civil Society Centre in Berlin, as well as positions across research and communications in international NGOs like the OSCE, academic initiatives like the European Public Policy Conference and private corporations in the U.K. She holds a first-class Bachelor’s degree from University College London in Eastern European Politics and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Policy, with specialisation in Policy Analysis, at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.
