Omar is a Research Assistant in the Welfare Research Program at ISDC, and a candidate in the International and Development Economics Master’s Degree programme at HTW Berlin.
He has over six years of experience in the development sector in Egypt, where his work encompassed conducting field research, developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks, and managing a digital mapping initiative of the social innovation ecosystem with incorporated layers of key development indicators. He holds a B.Sc. in Political Science from Cairo University, a Monitoring and Evaluation Diploma from The American University in Cairo, and a Data, Economics, and Design of Policy MicroMasters from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
