Andrej Smirnov is a Research Assistant at ISDC. His Research interest include the interaction between inequality and growth, migration and economics of conflict. At ISDC, Andrej works on the “Gendered Dimension of Forced Displacement” project and assists with data analysis in the “Life with Corona” survey.
Previously Andrej held Research Assistant positions at DeZIM-Institute (German Centre for Migration and Integration research), Natixis and Goethe University Frankfurt. Andrej is currently pursuing his master’s degree in Economics at Humboldt University. Previously, he studied Economics at Universidad Autònoma de Barcelona and received his B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Goethe University Frankfurt.
