Sonny O’Neill is a Communications Assistant in the Director’s Office at ISDC. He is currently contributing to the organization of Fragile Lives 2024, an upcoming conference headed by the Zero Hunger Lab at Humboldt-University of Berlin, with support from IRI THESys Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops (IGZ). Additionally, he is a research assistant in the program area “Plan Quality and Food Security” at IGZ. His interests include the intersections of Development, the Environment, and Climate Change.
During his studies, Sonny has researched the distributional implications of environmental policy in Latin America, as well as public perceptions of environmental policy in the UK.
Sonny is currently enrolled in the Integrated Natural Resource Management Master’s program at Humboldt-University of Berlin. He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom.
